Hello, Welcome aboard!!
My name is Ashwin Jadhav, an Aerospace/Aviation industry professional and a graduate student/research assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am currently pursuing a double M.S in Aerospace Engineering and Aviation-Human Factors.
My research interests include:
Air Traffic Management – Integration of different classes of aircraft into the National Airspace System, Traffic Simulation, Impact of Hubs, Aviation Market Evaluation, Scheduling and Air Networks
Traffic Congestion and Capacity Analysis – Impact of traffic and technology on the Next Generat ion Air Transportation System (Next Gen), Airspace Sector Flow Analysis.
Aviation Safety – Accident Investigation, Risk and Disaster Management, Safety Informatics.
Airport Design and Development – Layout and Configuration, Ground Traffic Optimization, Ground Operations.
My thesis in Aerospace Engineering is under the joint guidance of Prof Natasha Neogi, Prof Cedric Langbort and Prof Terry Von Thaden. Broadly classified as Air Traffic Management, it focuses on the integration of different classes of aircraft in the Next Generation Air Transportation System.
I pen my thoughts down at three different blogs.
This website contains details about my research, courses taken, publications, aerospace/aviation industry links and more information about me.
